The five Sterling silver beads from the Blue Ocean collection are all beautifully detailed and made by hand. The designer behind, is the Danish jewellery designer Søren Nielsen. Søren works by the 3,000-year-old technique ‘cire perdu’ or ‘lost wax’. This method allows for fine details to be reproduced from wax to precious metals. His design inspiration comes from sitting at the burner, letting his thoughts wonder and slowly they begin to take solid form in the wax between his hands. It comes naturally to him.
